Push button Historic Stone Canal Bridge (carried Genesee Valley Canal over Black Creek) on the Genesee Valley Greenway Trail
Push button From the Genesee Valley Greenway website: "Circa 1840. The third major structure on the Genesee Valley Canal that carried the canal across Black Creek. Although made of stone and dirt it is referred to as a double-arched culvert. It also served as a railroad crossing over the creek circa 1880 and today it is part of the Genesee Valley Greenway Trail."
Push button Along this same trail is Lock #2, an excellent example and in good condition. It is one of the few remaining cut stone locks on the Genesee Valley Canal.
