Trouble with site?
As promised at last night's meeting, here is the link to the
Black/ Oatka
Creek Municipal Law Review.
It was completed by G/FLRPC in 2006 as part of
the "Controlling Sediment in Black and Oatka Creek Watersheds" project.
From G/FLRPC: I did not attend last night's meeting. The report that George has referenced will be updated under the ongoing watershed management
planning project. This will likely occur before the end of the year (or will at least be initiated by staff). This update will facilitate
communication of the salient issues pertaining to the local land use law framework in NYS and its potential use in watershed protection. (The 2006
report referenced below, while comprehensive in this regard, is not easy to interpret).
If anyone has questions regarding this initial review or the update, you can contact G/FLRPC.

Online Mapping
The Black Creek Watershed Coalition has decided to map all the interesting places
that can be found in the Black Creek Watershed.
Each point has a web page associated with it which describes interesting facts about
the location. The mapping portion works with Google Earth which can be downloaded
from here.
You can also check out the web pages individually by category. If you come
across errors or have additional information to add to a point's web page please
contact Rochelle Bell at the address listed at the top of this page. Click here to go to the online mapping page.
