A free symposium for residents and municipal officials and staff in the Black and Oatka Creek watersheds will be held on October 28, 2010. Topics will include trout fishing in Oatka Creek, the Bergen Swamp, streambank stabilization projects, agricultrual environmental management, and the status of watershed planning for each watershed. The Black Creek Watershed Coalition has decided to map all the interesting places that can be found in the Black Creek Watershed. 

Each point has a web page associated with it which describes interesting facts about the location.  The mapping portion works with Google Earth which can be downloaded from here

You can also check out the web pages individually by category.  If you come across errors or have additional information to add to a point's web page please contact Rochelle Bell at the address listed at the top of this page. Click here to go to the online mapping page.
